Incredible Detectives Make Me Smile :)

These detectives I speak of go by the names of Shawn Spencer and Sherlock Holmes. I watched Sherlock Holmes a Game of Shadows tonight, and I realized how alike Shawn and Sherlock are. They are both people who have incredible abilities to see every detail around them and be humorous while doing so. The only difference is, Shawn pretends he is a psychic so he can get a job, whereas Sherlock just says screw this, I'm british and awesome. Who needs money? But he somehow still seems to have money, which I feel like he just scams people out of and mooches from Watson. Watson and Gus are alike as well, they are the assistants who are still awesome and who have actual lives outside of the detective/psychic work. Watson gets married, Gus works as a pharmaceutical salesman, they would still be set for life without the fun work they do with Sherlock and Shawn. But the real question is, what if Shawn and Gus and Sherlock and Watson met?

I feel like Shawn would get punched in the face then friended, because that is just how strange Sherlock is. Sherlock would probably also realize how Shawn is a fake psychic who has the same type of abilities as he does. Except, Shawn can kind of see the past from things he finds, and Sherlock can see what will happen in certain situations, so they are kind of the opposite. Which is strange, because Shawn advertises himself as someone who can see the future, but that person is really Sherlock. A bunch of people have things all over the internet about how Psych and the Sherlock movies are similar but I could only read like one of them because the school computer blocks everything and I am too lazy to use another device with internet. But, because I came up with the idea very recently, mine is obviously the best idea. Don't tell the others though. I now realize that my post was about how they make me smile, and I haven't really said anything about that. So, let it be known that everything I have said above makes me smile, and I hope that incredible detectives like Shawn and Sherlock make you smile :)

Wizards of Waverly Place Makes Me Smile :)

Quite recently, Disney came out with a new Wizards of Waverly place movie. It was literally the highlight of my life. So far...hopefully. Anyways, it was so great! Alex became the family wizard, Max owned the Sub Shop, and Justin was the professor of WizTech! Of course, you already knew that. And, knowing Alex like I do, I figured that she would get into a lot of trouble with all that power she has. I was not disappointed. (SPOILER ALERT: the whole rest of this post has spoiler alerts about the movie) See, Alex is very irresponsible with her magic, and her parents have been getting on her case about it. I can't blame her, I mean if I had that much magic I would go crazy. But, she was fed up with them, so she decided (with a little persuasion from Dominic, the hot bad guy) to cast out all of her bad parts. Dun dun dunnnn......

Wizards Then! (aw, look at how little they are!)

This choice was not the best, because her bad self found a way to escape and take over the world. Oops. She started capturing her family and friends in little beads on her charm bracelet, for leverage. The thing is, bad Alex was just a piece of Alex, so she didn't have as strong of power as good Alex did. Dominic and bad Alex (I'm going to call her BA from now on, and good Alex GA) came up with a machine that imprisoned mortals in beads. I guess they had a theme, or they just loved jewelry. So, GA had to come up with a way to stop BA and Dominic without losing her loved ones forever. One little snag, right before GA's plan was about to take place, the Crystals of Justice intervened. They thought GA did all the stuff BA did because, well, she kind of did. I mean, it's the same person, right? And they found her guilty, but Mason went all werewolf on the bead he was in and escaped, and then broke GA out of her holding cell. Eventually, GA defeats BA by casting off her own powers, which made BA's go away too. The Crystals of Justice came back and almost didn't give her back her powers, because she endangered the world so many times, but they did eventually. Bad move, I think, but I'm happy they did because Alex (GA and BA) is like my favorite person ever. So yeah, that's how my entire childhood came back to life in one single movie. It was only an hour movie, but the emotional-ness of it will last a lifetime. Until next week, relive your childhood and smile :)

High School Musical Makes Me Smile:)

High School Musical, who says we have to let it go? I hope you started singing this too, not just me... You should know that music, because if you don't then you probably did not have a childhood. Sorry. I haven't really let go of HSM, mostly because it was the best thing that has ever happened to Disney. Especially when they do marathons with the movies. I literally just sit down and watch all of them while I sit there and say or sing every single word in all three movies. Except not the third word for word, but definitely the first. It has literally been my dream to have my entire high school get up in the middle of the lunch room and start singing "stick to the status quo whoa whoa whoa, stick to the stuff you know, if you want to be cool follow one simple rule, don't mess with it no no no" and so on. Wouldn't that be the coolest thing ever?

Although I could never see the kids at my school doing that. So, about the actors in it. Zac Efron is super sexy, he always was. Corbin Bleu fell off the face of the earth, so I have no clue what's going on with him. And I don't know what any of the other ones' names are, so, yeah. Oh, except for Vanessa Hudgens, who was recently in Sucker Punch and Spring Breakers. Both were a gigantic massive step from HSM, and I was so surprised to see her in both. She didn't even sing, except for a little in Spring Breakers, but that was like "oh look, lets pretend we're people who can't sing even though we are Vanessa Hudgens and Selena freakin' Gomez".  I'm just jealous, don't mind me. But the point is, last time I saw Vanessa she was the shy, sweet Gabriella and the next she was shooting a machine gun yelling obscenities at people. People change, I guess. Same for Selena, I saw her as Alex Russo, the cute, sassy teenage witch and the next she was in a movie where some girls rob a store and get crazy and decide to go on spring break forever. Granted, she was the one who chickened out half way through and broke down and went home, but it was still quite different. But all that aside, HSM is still a great movie. I'm still holding on to the hope that the lunch table thing will happen. Until then, I hope that High School Musical will always make you smile :)

Rufus (Stoppable) Makes Me Smile :)

Before you ask, I would just like to say yes, I am talking about a made up naked mole rat from an animated children's TV show. Rufus doesn't exactly talk, but apparently he has the same voice as Bart Simpson. You can check if you don't believe me, the person who voices both Bart and Rufus is a lady named Nancy Cartwright. I don't really know why there needs to have a person to voice something that doesn't really talk, but hey who am I to judge. So, I have been seeing  the expectation vs. reality things a lot lately, and I came across on that was Rufus vs. a real naked mole rat. It was disgusting. I'm not going to show you the picture, but you can look it up on the internet machine. But, I will show you regular Rufus:

He's way cuter than any other naked mole rat. So the reason he makes me smile is because of his attitude. If he could talk, he would probably be super clever and witty and hilarious, but he can't. That doesn't stop him, though! Rufus is still super funny and is probably my favorite character from Kim Possible. I guess I could have done Kim Possible Makes Me Smile :) but I figured that I would probably spend most of my time talking about Rufus, so I just cut to the chase. Anyways, he is also a big eater. Maybe I like him so much because he reminds me of me, but then again I'm a human and I don't spend my time naked in Ron's pocket. That would probably be a weird thing to do...but of course he pulls it off. So, back to me liking Rufus because he eats a lot. When he and Ron aren't out on missions, he spends his time at Bueno Nacho eating the day away. Sounds pretty good to me. And speaking of missions, he is really great on those too. He saves Ron's but multiple times, and occasionally even Kim's. Not bad for a small pink naked rat. There are many other cool characters in Kim Possible that I love, but it is really Rufus that makes me smile :)

Secretly Wearing Fuzzy Socks to School Makes Me Smile :)

Unless I'm wearing my Uggs, which don't fit me anymore and have fake blood all over them, my shoes are not comfortable. My escape from that horrible prison cell of a shoe is fuzzy socks. I will always go to the comfort of fuzzy socks on a bad day, or especially on a good day. Usually, when I wake up at six am for school, and my feet are sticking out of my comforter because I'm such a restless sleeper, my poor toes are dying of hypothermia. Fortunately for me, I have a nice drawer full of fuzzy socks and usually a couple pairs lying around the room. Just for kicks, here is a sneak peak of me wearing my favorite fuzzy socks:
Photo Courtesy Of: Me, with a cabinet in my room as a backdrop. Classy stuff!
As you can quite obviously see, these particular socks are very tasteful. Especially seeing as they are bright red and green, and it's only October... But, being as smart as I am, I figured out how to hide the socks under my jeans and boots. Hense the "secretly" part of the title of this post. It may seem crazy, but sometimes I just can't believe how smart I am. About socks. Hidden under jeans. And not much else. But still, smart!
What makes me really smile about this, though, is that nobody knows that I am wearing these socks, unless I told them. Sharing those secret smiles down the hallway to those people who do know is priceless. Especially when they know that I'm wearing fuzzy socks, and I know that they are. It is the same warm fuzzy feeling on my feet as theirs, which makes it better for the both of us. Okay, I'll admit, maybe some people share the same genius as I do.Who knows why, but those super secret socks just always make he smile. :)
